It’s been roughly ten or eleven days. I haven’t given much thought to what I will do next, but rather how I will take advantage of these four weeks of unplanned freedom. The day after I arrived I headed off to my family’s cabin with my dad and my one sister, followed by my mom the next day. Along with my grandpa, uncle and uncle’s girlfriend, we enjoyed a couple hours of sun, a few moments of rain, but mostly perfect weather for photographing our surroundings. Photo lessons, along with various practical assignments (oiling the patio, clearing the road, etc.) were high on the agenda, but we still enjoyed the stillness, as well as the freezing water for my first dip this year.
Today I am back in my childhood home, ready to edit some photos, update my resume and possibly start the job hunt from abroad. But first, photos from the weekend and from my favorite place in the world.
